Mae My World My Home Coleg y Cymoedd yn grŵp o bobl ifanc sy’n ymgyrchu dros ddeddfwriaeth gryfach ar Ansawdd Aer yn ne Cymru a thu hwnt.

Mae Bil Yr Amgylchedd (Ansawdd Aer a Seinweddau) Cymru yn mynd drwy’r Senedd ar hyn o bryd, ac mae’n ymwneud â llygredd aer yng Nghymru. Mae angen i’r Bil hwn ystyried y grwpiau yr effeithir arnynt fwyaf gan lygredd aer, fel Pobl o Liw, pobl ifanc, pobl anabl a phobl dosbarth gweithiol.

My World My Home Coleg y Cymoedd is a group of young people campaigning for stronger Air Quality legislation in South Wales and beyond.

The Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Bill is currently passing through the Senedd, and concerns air pollution in Wales. This Bill needs to take into consideration the groups most affected by air pollution, such as People of Colour, young people, disabled people and working class people.

Annwyl Bwyllgor Newid Hinsawdd,

Rydym yn croesawu Bil yr Amgylchedd (Ansawdd Aer a Seinweddau)(Cymru), gan fod ansawdd aer yng Nghymru yn bwysig i ni. Hoffem gael mwy o gydnabyddiaeth yn y Bil o effeithiau llygredd aer ar Bobl o Liw, pobl ifanc, pobl anabl a phobl dosbarth gweithiol gan mai’r grwpiau hyn sy’n cael eu heffeithio fwyaf gan ansawdd aer gwael.

Rydym eisiau cael mesurau penodol ar waith i fynd i’r afael â’r effeithiau anghymesur y mae’r grwpiau hyn yn eu hwynebu o ganlyniad i ansawdd aer gwael. Dylid ymgynghori â’r grwpiau hyn ar y Bil yn benodol hefyd, i sicrhau ei fod yn effeithiol.

A allwch chi ychwanegu’r rhain i'r Bil yn ystod ei ail ddarlleniad os gwelwch yn dda.

Dear Climate Change Committee,

We welcome The Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Bill, as we care about air quality in Wales. We would like increased recognition within the Bill of the impacts of air pollution on People of Colour, young people, disabled people and working class people as these groups are most affected by poor air quality.

We want specific measures in place to address the disproportionate impacts that these groups face from poor air quality. These groups should also be consulted on the Bill specifically, to ensure it is effective.

Please can you add these to the Bill during its second reading.

What are your views on the Bill’s provisions (set out according to sections below), in particular are they workable and will they deliver the stated policy intention?
